They wouldn't block the view when your'e inside a sub, and wouldn't make a whole lot of difference on surface either.
Inside a sub? No. But try to imagine a full-sized crewmen manning ALL of your ship's weapons..

I am pretty sure that visibility from the FCTower would be greatly reduced.

One of the reasons behind my being against this idea is my belief that enigma is not about little people ripped to shreds aboard the ships - it's about the ships :).

How many crewmembers would you need to have aboard a Battleship? Would you really have eough time to watch them? If not, would anyone have enough time to see those little living wonders behind your guns in the middle of a great battle?

Enigma is supposed to be a furious naval action game, especially in MP. It's the ships that matter for me.

I, myself, am not that fussed one way or another re having "staff" on board my vessels.

Now when the land entity is implemented, that's where I'd like to see people. Perhaps not walking around the town as they do in Pirates of the Carribean or Sea Dogs, more so stationary figures in say, the hotel, the Post Office, the fuel depot etc where I can interact in a basic exchange.

There may be a quest orientated speach involved or it could be nothing, or perhaps the fuel depot won't speak to me until I reach a certain rank, whatever it is, I don't need to hear the voice (that would be good) but a text based conversation with a graphic AI would be good.

The fact is that it is far more dangerous for the people to sterilize the war .

Use to see/play war without seeing any human is VERY dangerous for the way you understand what you are playing/seeing.

It could tell the "teens" that the war is only a material confrontation without any sweat or blood.

and that is very dangerous........

Interesting idea but i dont think that this one game is going to sterilise war all by its self, and there are enough games out there that you see human casualties in anyway whuich are becoming more and more realistic.

Interesting fact the IWM has had requests from computer games manufacturers for footage of people being killed. This is something that we have always refused to do on moral grounds.
