Hi everyone, 

 

I posted on the WT forums that i would like join a squad and GreaseMonkey reached out to me. 

I just applied in game and will await you're guy's decision. Hope to fly with everyone soon!!!

 
  • WT Callsign ===> Knight51

heres the post i did in WT in case anyones interested in knowing more about me

 

"Hi everyone,

 

I've started playing war thunder since the first beta but stopped and recently picked it up again. I was never in a sqaud in war thunder, but I was in a squad in a similar game called Aces High. 

I'm looking for a squad that is well structured and is relaxed and just wants to have fun. Not really looking for large squads (ex 100+ ppl) since I think its too hard to really get to know one another. 

I've read though the squads looking for recruits subsection and it seems mainly ppl are concerned with age, types of planes (tiers), experience, and availability. I'll list these factors and more, but

you need more info just let me know.

 

 1) I'm 22 years old in college studying MEGR

 2) I've been playing flight sims since I was 12 since i always wanted to be a fighter pilot and was interested in planes 

 3) I only have 1 tier 3 plane so far (spitfire Mk Vb)

 4) Dont have premium account anymore

 5) I'm mostly on during the weekends but occasionally on Monday wed and Friday for a little bit. 

 6) for my availability on Monday wed and friday i get on around 8ish

 7) My favorite WW2 planes are the P-51D mustang, P-38, spitfires, and B-17

I am the Air Marshal - Not really as posh as it sounds - really I fix stuff up for all the air squsdrons on Tides...

GreaseMonkey is your man and I am sure he will get back to you very soon.

You are welcome to play other flight sims as we have people flying all the IL2 series games and DCS World too, although only really the WWII stuff.

We have a Spitfire Squadron, a Mustang Squadron and a Hellcat Squadron if you are interested in some more realistic flyibg than WT.

Take a look around the BATTLE STATIONS / By AIR from the drop downs above.....

But don't let me drag you away from BSS....

Well if you call over a decade new, then yes. We did run a BF2 server in the past. We also ran IL2:PacificFighters servers and Rise of Flight servers. All things come and go and our ageing server couldn't keep up anymore so we had to retire it.
Ahhh ok, cause i was in a competitive clan in BF2 and i think i remember playing you guys in a tourney, back when esports was just beginning to get going

I checked tonight and someone had approved your application. Next time you on, jump into our teamspeak room on the tidesofwar teamspeak server. Im usually not on until between 8-10pm CST. There seems to be 8-10 players on in the evening when I log on. Feel free to squad with them. I look forward to flying with you!
