I got a few guys here thta play Pacific Fighters..Was wondering if it could be put on for us..We want to play it together somewhere and i told them about us..I dont know if we can even connect to the server or not from here...we have connection problems from time to time..but if you can it would be cool and give me the server ip..i'll get them on ts and get them squared on that..let me know..

Currently I am unaware of dedicated software to run a "Pacific Fighters" server.
The current software supported for dedicated servers is "il2 1946"
However , unless you are planning on hosting more than 20 folks to play Pacific Fighters , any one of the players can host it on his own machine without consequence. The only requirement is that everyone must be running the identical version of that release.
The ability to host by a player precludes the need for a dedicated server.

Thx Bro..I'll get one of the guys to do that then..I got i guy that is real pc savy and he's been trying to get his server box up here but we are having problems with ips connecting.. he seems to think these people here are blocking ports or something..we are wireless here and they block alot of things...i cant even read a email that my wife sent me from hallmark..He put this program on my laptop that shows me open ip's and we couldnt find each other even with our file shares on...oh well, thx bro

It is a pretty straight forward (and Free) thing to get from Pacific Fighters to 1946 by patching up. Please remind me of the version number for Pacific Fighters and I will look up the patches and provide links and a sequence to achieve it. You will them have soooo much more in the way of aircraft maps and improvements that you will not believe. You wil also be able to play on our new 24Hr Slot mission that is running on our game server.

You cannot patch from Pacific Fighters to 1946 . If you could then it means that 1946 was a patch . It wasnt. It was a stand alone retail version . Pacific Fighters is actually the third il2 release, and could be merged with Il2 Sturmovik , the second of the original releases, but thats it. Sorry mates.

Chaps - I may have misinformed you. I thought it could be patched up but maybe not. Nevertheless, its a bargin bucket programme now.... so really cheap.
