What Specifically Does The Us Gold Patch Contain?

Yeah, I was just wondering if there was a list of specifics? I like the new voice packs and the upgraded textures, but is there anything else I might have missed?

there is several topics around that covers this. on top of my head:

Improved sfx/gfx, new menu, custom mission creation/playing, bug/texture fixes, better gameplay balance, more...

Jesper: downloaded the Gold but there's an error when I try and install it. It just shuts down because it "encountered a problem and needs to close." I have all the other patches & read somewhere you need to uninstall ERT, then reinstall and have no patches when you install gold. Is this true?

If so, is there a way I can save my campaign progress when I uninstall?

Yes that is true and yes you can copy your profile from the game, simply by copying the folder named as your player name to a different location while reinstalling, and copy it back when done

Those are the instructions for anyone who has an older original version ERT CD - not on of the new Gold edition CDs.

If you installed ERT from the older CDs and have since updated it with various patches that came out over the last 2 years, the latest Gold upgrade patch will not run successfully.

So, to translate into english , yes, you have to uninstall ERT if you have any other patches installed, then re-install and install the gold patch only.

Okay, I have the newly released US version of the International Gold disk... just bought it less than two weeks ago. I can't seem to find any patches that go with it, save the Mission Editor, which I noticed. The rest appear to go to older versions of the product.

Am I missing something?
